Greetings from the Port Factory, Sydney

After Decades of bringing games to market across PC and console, one truth became increasingly clear. Porting is not a side task. It is its own discipline.
So we built a factory.
The Port Factory was created to make console porting more affordable, more accessible, and — critically — more predictable for independent developers around the world.
Porting is often treated as an afterthought. It shouldn’t be. Conforming a game to platform requirements, navigating TRCs and Lotcheck, optimizing performance across hardware architectures, handling certification cycles — these are processes learned through repetition, not theory. You can absolutely learn to do it yourself. But it will likely cost you a year of trial, error, and iteration.
And time is the most expensive resource in development.
A specialized porting partner compresses that learning curve immediately. It allows teams to stay focused on what they do best: building worlds, systems, stories and communities while we handle the technical and compliance complexities of bringing that experience to console.
Why “Factory”?
Because the name says exactly what we do.
We believe scale creates efficiency. By sequencing multiple porting projects through a structured pipeline rather than building isolated, bespoke teams for every title we reduce redundancy, control cost, and maintain institutional knowledge across platforms.
That means:
• Faster turnaround
• Lower cost per platform
• Higher certification success rates
• Predictable delivery timelines
And for indie developers, that translates to access.
Access to PlayStation.
Access to Xbox.
Access to Nintendo.
Access to the largest and most stable gaming platforms in the world.
Yes, we are biased toward console.
Console players are loyal.
Console storefronts are curated.
Console visibility, when executed correctly, can materially transform a studio’s trajectory.
The Port Factory exists to bridge the gap between PC success and cross-platform scale.
If you’ve built something special on PC, we help you bring it everywhere.
